Class Agent: Bonnie Rowe Turner

As 2006 draws to an end let us once again take the time to stop and think of all the blessing we've been given. One of my blessings this year was the opportunity to see many of you again. Alumni weekend was a great success and a huge "thank you" to all who participated and helped in the planning the weekend.

As we talked among ourselves that weekend it was clear to see we've each chosen an interesting path to travel life's journey on and yet we all had the same starting point, Fletcher Academy. I'm sure many fond memories came to mind that weekend for each of us as we walked about the campus and thought of all the activities we had once been involved in. It was great to see so many new students doing the same thing 25 years later.

One thing I did notice during Alumni Weekend is that our class has not started any type of scholarship or made any significant gift to Fletcher Academy at this point. As the class agent I would like to make the recommendation we do so. Each year a wish list distributed on Alumni Weekend, this is how I chose where to donate this year. We could donate our funds to that or we could start a scholarship with a yearly distribution. The floor is open to ideas and thoughts from each of you as to what we might do.
